About Me
Xizhe Yin - Ph.D. Researcher in Software Engineering
I am a Ph.D. student in the School of Computer Science and Technology at Nanjing University, working under the joint supervision of Prof. Baowen Xu and Dr. Yang Feng. My research interests lie in Software Engineering, with a focus on developing innovative tools to improve software quality and reliability. Currently, my research centers around software supply chains for the Rust programming language.
I serve as the lead maintainer of Crates-Pro, a project dedicated to enhancing the security and usability of software in the Rust ecosystem.
I’m also an active contributor to several open-source projects. I’ve contributed to rust-lang/rust to enhancing compiler diagnostics, addressing bootstrap or ice issues, and implementing various improvements to make rustc more developer-friendly and approachable.
